Dear Parents,

How exciting it is going back to Camp Longridge for Winter Blast! I know the kids are extremely excited.  It is coming fast (next week Dec 12-14). So here are some things you need to know.

Please be at the church as soon possible on the 12th (Friday).  We want and will have  to leave at 4:00pm.  So please get there before then so we can pack and go.  I know that is tight but we have about an hour and a half bus ride. We are going to try and get back around 12:30-1pm on Sunday 14th

 

Please read over the first page in the Longridge paperwork.  It will help you pack, main things is linens/sleeping bag for the bed.  Many of you are veterans to camp.

 

Please be aware that canteen is different at winterblast.  The kids will be keeping their money with them.  They suggest $30 but that is really high in my opinion.  To put it in perspective every kid got $40 during the summer while we were there for the week in the summer.  Give your child what you believe they can manage and keep up with.

 

Please Pray.  Camp is fun. It is about fun. But it isn’t the only thing it is about.  So be in prayer for your child as they hear the speaker and sing the songs.
