AWANA STORE

 

The AWANA   store is under construction this year and so it is closed this year. We do not know if at this time it will be up and running next year or if it will be back. But never fear what we do know is that we have a great plan in place while the store is down. This year we are going to have prize nights. To get the big prize the clubbers have to earn points by wearing the uniform, going through sections, and bringing friends, saying memory verses etc. We will give bonus points for various things for example: having parents cite a verse, saying a memory verse two weeks later. This year will be fun. The first prize night will be Build your own Sundae. It breaks down like this

 

8,000 points = All the topping and flavors of ice cream

6,000 points = 3 different flavors and two toppings

4,000 points = 2 different flavors and one topping

2,000 points = 1 flavor of ice cream and one topping

1,000 points = 1 flavor of ice cream

We will announce what the other prize nights will be after our first one.

 

 

CLOSING CEREMONY AND DISMISSAL

This year we are adding a closing ceremony to our program. All the clubbers will end the night in our gym where the parents/guardian can pick them up. During the Closing Ceremony, the clubbers will get their various awards for completing their sections. We will also be giving recognition prizes. We want to recognize good effort and following the rules. So every closing ceremony we will give various prizes (candy, t-shirts, toys, etc) to clubbers for awards. Every night we will recognize something different, could be for wearing the uniform, to bringing a friend, or just being a good encourager.
