Dear Parents,

It is now the time  of the year where we sign up for camps. Here are the dates for camps and other important dates and information.

The Youth(current 6th grade-12th) will be going to SUMMERSALT this year at White Oak. The dates are June 13-17. Sign ups will be January 4- March 13. You sign up by paying the $50 deposit with a check made out to the church. We can’t guarantee your youth’s spot without the deposit.  The remaining balance of $80 for members and $195 for non-members is due May 22.  Due to the registration paperwork being colored we will fill out the paperwork on June 13 when you drop off your youth. Also a copy of your health insurance card is needed. Please make sure a guardian/parent is dropping off to fill out the paperwork.

The Children (current 2nd grade-6th) will be going to Camp Longridge the dates are July 11-15. Sign ups will be January 4- March 13.  You sign up by paying the $50 deposit with a check made out to the church.  We can’t guarantee you child a spot without the deposit.  The remaining balance of $85 for members and $220 for non-members and the registration form is due May 22.  Please note parents this year the registration will be handled the same as last year as Camp Longridge has gone paperless, meaning you will register your child through their online system.  Once you sign up and pay I’ll give you instructions on how to register your child for camp with our group code.

We give the option for our 6th graders to decide which camp they would like to go to Longridge or SummerSalt because 6th grade is a huge transitional time.  Though I recommend the 6th graders go to SummerSalt with the rest of the youth I understand that desire to get that one last Camp Longridge trip in.    Please take note of the dates and ask me any questions.
