Our Mission
Clarendon Baptist Church is a Bible Believing, Mission Minded church. Our Mission is to carry out the Great Commission of our Savior, to foster and maintain public worship, and to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
From the Pastor
Hello Friends,
It is such an honor to serve the Lord at a loving church like Clarendon Baptist Church. As you view the pages, we hope you will experience that same love we feel. We also hope you will see a congregation that is working to make His name known locally and to the nations. Jesus is our Lord and Savior, and the Gospel is our message. We are also a place where your family can feel safe and welcome. Our children are taught through Sunday school and camp. Our youth are led by a great youth pastor and are active in church and our community. We have men’s and ladies’ groups to minister to all ages. The Word of God is preached in a verse-by-verse style and unapologetically. In addition, we have fellowshipped every month to keep us in touch and closer together. We think you can find a place to serve and worship here at Clarendon Baptist Church. We hope you will stop by and check us out.

Our Core Beliefs
Our core beliefs can be found in the Baptist Faith and Message. However, we are a church that believes in the Sovereignty of God and that Jesus Christ is His only Son born of a virgin. He was sent to save us from our sin. We believe that salvation is in no other but Christ. In order to be saved, one must fully trust Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and teaches us and guides us in all things.
Lastly, because of these beliefs, we are motivated to go in to the entire world and make Jesus known. We do that through local, state and foreign missions.
